There’s nothing scarier than being unprepared for Halloween (which is why we’ve had a running list of costume ideas in our phones for at least six months). Clearly, Charlotte Olympia agrees — the always-quirky designer has crafted a cheeky capsule collection of shoes and bags to celebrate the occasion.
Whenever I get a chance to hang out with girlfriends, inevitably the conversation turns to sex at some point. The most interesting conversations are the ones I observe among the married ladies. Without fail, there is always that lucky gal in the group that has been married for well over 10 years and is getting lucky on the regular. To watch the incredulous faces on the other married ladies — who then begin to frantically ask one another how often they’re getting it with their partner — is pretty entertaining. They compare and contrast notes and all eyes are pleading with the one married woman having great sex with her husband to give up her secrets. So, I decided to interview one of my lucky friends and her lucky husband to see if we could get some insight on how to keep things alive in the bedroom long after you say your vows.

In fact, the average price for the 103 for-sale Winnetka listings analyzed by the site is $2.42 million — a whopping number that makes the town one of the top 10 luxury suburbs in America and the only one in the Midwest to make the list.

Anyhoo, I would like to talk about some things I’ve learned about PMS that are actually beneficial, so the next time your boobs start to hurt, you won’t dread the fact that PMS has begun.
Imagining a frightening future has long been the bailiwick of science fiction writers and dystopia-driven filmmakers. Now, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago ponders that less-than-pretty road with “News from Nowhere: Chicago Laboratory,” the first U.S. exhibition devoted to the work of noted Korean artists Moon Kyungwon and Jeon Joonho.
