Holy crap. “The View” starts on Monday. People keep asking me if I’m nervous. I have to be honest — not yet. Usually my nerves are more excitement-based, but I have a feeling I will be running into the bathroom at least a few times an hour before we go live on Monday.
After being in holding deals and doing television shows that never went that far, I’m beyond grateful to be hosting again on TV. Not only do I feel ready from a mental standpoint, but I’m also ready to have a full time job so I can have the means to support Evan without having to worry where the next paycheck is coming from.
The support I have gotten after being hired to replace Joy makes me want to hug every one of you. Those that haven’t been happy about my hiring, I honor your opinion. After all, we are all entitled to our own points of “view” on every subject matter.
My sole mission while co-hosting “The View” is to inspire, entertain and engage in conversations that matter to the viewers. I have no personal agenda other than to spiritually grow from the life experiences that come with this job.
I hope I do a good job for you and that you will allow me the chance to get better each year as I move onto this next chapter in my life.
I’m blessed to have such amazing fans who have supported me for many years and stood by me when sh*t hit the fan. I am, and will be, eternally grateful.
