A perfect match: Jenny interviews Patti Stanger

Posted by Jenny McCarthy on 15 Feb 2013

I asked Patti Stanger from “Millionaire Matchmaker” some one-on-one questions on dating advice so we single girls could learn how to catch the right guy. She is on my show tonight on VH1 at 9:30 p.m. Hope you tune in! Here is a sneak peek. JENNY: What are the most important things to remember when trying to pick up guys? PATTI: To smile. JENNY: When is it appropriate to pay for dinner when you are on a date? PATTI: Never unless you’re a man, or it’s his birthday. JENNY: How soon can you sleep with someone after you start dating them? PATTI: Once you get the monogamy card from him. JENNY: Is it ok to pressure someone into marriage? PATTI: No, but you can do a me-amatum and put yourself first. It’s like an ultimatum, but with a sweet Sally tone. It’s like “the takeaway move” in sales. JENNY: Is it ok to bring up your past loves or sexual experiences in your new relationship?

PATTI: No, because it doesn’t make the new person feel special.

JENNY: How much should you compromise your own check list when meeting a new guy? Example, you don’t like bald guys, but the guy you kind of like is bald.

PATTI: You only get two physical quirks and you only get five must haves.

JENNY: How soon can you say “I love you” without sounding desperate?

PATTI: Make him say “I love you” first.

JENNY: What is the best test to give a guy to see if you he is worth your time?

PATTI: When you’re sick does he bring you chicken soup?

JENNY: What is the one biggest mistake girls make when dating?

PATTI: They talk about their exes and tell them how many guys they’re dating.

JENNY: If you could set me up with one famous guy, who would be your number one pick?

PATTI: The Rock. He’s HOT. He’s a sexy, rugged, business man and has kids.
