Dispatches from our Chicagoan in Hollywood, Liz Crokin.
The relationship between Adrienne Maloof and her boy toy Sean Stewart is heating up! Sean, son of famous rocker Rod Stewart, is falling so in love with the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star that he wants to move in with her. Though Adrienne is trying to keep the relationship light and hasn’t introduced Sean to her children, friends insist that Sean is smitten. But Adrienne is taking things slow. “She knows he’s young and she doesn’t want to move too quickly into a serious relationship,” a source said. “She’s having fun.” Though Sean is taken with Adrienne, sources caution that he has an agenda. “He definitely wants his own reality show, and he’d love to be featured on the ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,’ ” the source said.
Move over Oprah!
Oprah better watch her back — at least that’s what Kris Jenner says! The Kardashian matriarch recently scored her own talk show, and sources say the project has been in the works for years. “It’s all she used to talk about,” says a source. “She’d say, ‘One day I’ll have a show like Oprah,’ but she thinks hers will be better. She wants to be Oprah — minus the helping people part!” Kris couldn’t be happier about the timing of her new gig, since there are whispers that “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” may only have a couple seasons left. “It isn’t pulling in the ratings that it used to,” says a source.
There’s one person who isn’t over the moon about Kris’ new job: hubby Bruce Jenner.
“Their marriage is already on the rocks,” the source said. “Kris thinks she is sexier than ever right now, and she’s bored of Bruce.”
Super Bowl stars
There was speculation that Jay-Z would join his wife Beyoncé on stage at the Super Bowl, but the rapper opted out. “Jay-Z lets Beyoncé shine,” a source said. “He didn’t want to overshadow her.” The rapper had his own moment when he performed “Suit & Tie” with Justin Timberlake at the Direct TV & AXS TV Super Bowl party in New Orleans the night before the game.
Sources also tell me Jennifer Hudson was overjoyed to perform with the children from the Sandy Hook choir. “Given what she has lived through, she wants to help other survivors,” the source said. “She was so honored to be with the children and support them. It was very emotional for her.”
