Yes, I got a tattoo. And because my media tour was the next day, it received more news than I had expected. In my head things like that don’t seem like a big deal, but I guess because I did it to kill time while waiting for the blackout to end during the Super Bowl the news media found it amusing. What I didn’t take into consideration, though, was that I would be on my feet the next two days doing a media tour for my new talk show, which debuts Friday night at 9:30 p.m. on VH1. As I trucked through the day, I captured some behind-the-scenes pics for you — including the damage done to my foot.
Note to self: tattoo + media tour + Louboutins = ouch!

How it all began …
Either Dave my tattoo guy is proud of his work or he is happy to get away from my stinky foot.
I’m not sure how Kathie Lee and Hoda put up with strangers in the window behind them on live TV. I get distracted by lint rolling past on the floor, let alone strangers waving and screaming like they won a car on “The Price is Right.”
My sister Jojo and me on our way to my next TV show. Don’t worry, PETA. Jojo’s jacket is as fake as my hair.
Michelle Beadle interviews me on “Access Hollywood.” We were comparing tattoos. We each had one on our foot. After I left, she Tweeted, “Just had a chat with @Jennymccarthy. This just in. She is badass and her foot tattoo makes mine look like poop on a stick.”
Had one-hour break in my hotel room. Applied my fountain of youth secret weapon and went back to work to grind out the rest of the day.
Stopped off for some quick sex with Richard Simmons. He really knows how to get physical.
