Who Wore What Where: Blazers

Posted by Splash Staff on 01 Feb 2013

If they’re not wearing the pants, Chicago women are definitely wearing the blazers in the family. Menswear-inspired fashion has moved from the workplace to the party scene with slender cuts, feminine embellishments and flirty collars. Pair a sport coat with skinny jeans or a pencil skirt for an instantly chic outfit, or even drape a jacket over your gown for an edgy gala look. Heavy winter fabrics like tweed and velvet add texture to the outfit (while keeping out February’s biting chill), and a long necklace adds necessary sparkle. Ladies, it’s not a man’s world anymore.
