Where Have All the Cowboys Gone?

Posted by Jenny McCarthy on 30 Jan 2013

Everywhere I look these days, boys seem to have lost their cowboy edge. They get manicures, they want to borrow our facial cream at night, and pretty soon they will demand the right to breast-feed. Okay, obviously that last part is a joke, but you get my point. Boys are turning into softies and I can’t decide yet if I like that or not. Part of spiritual evolution is for men and woman to both have equal amounts of female and masculine energy. I can easily see and feel both my feminine and masculine energies, both of which make me who I am. Most of the time I would rather play poker with the guys than have any part in teatime with the ladies. With women coming into the workplace as fierce as men and women bringing home the bacon, it doesn’t surprise me that our opposite energies are shifting onto more of an equal playing field. My problem is, as much as I like feminine equality, I’m not sure I’m ready for guys who want flower potpourri in their house versus good, old-fashioned man B.O.

You know what I’m saying? What do you girls and guys think?
