Chicago Horticultural Society’s All Aboard Party

Posted by Splash Staff on 28 Dec 2012

On Nov. 29, the Woman’s Board of the Chicago Horticultural Society hosted about 400 guests for All Aboard, a Russian-themed fundraiser. Guests sampled vodka and caviar during a cocktail reception, and later enjoyed dinner in one of three rooms that were replicas of Russian imperial palaces. Lively entertainment was provided by Russian singing ensemble Golosa. Co-chaired by Gail Miller and Alicia Crawford, the party raised $300,000 to support community gardening programs. The Sun-Times was the media sponsor of this event. Story by Bianca Betancourt | Photos by Robert Carl
