Don’t miss out on these shopping events: Fête Chicago night market, the launch of Haberdash’s new e-commerce site and the opening of Christian Louboutin. Sole Store Famed designer Christian Louboutin is leaving his signature red-soled footprint on Chicago with the opening of his newest store. Setting up shop in the historic Esquire Theater (58 E. Oak), the two-story boutique is packed full of Louboutin’s latest shoes, handbags and men’s collection. It’s a site that will have the city’s most fashionable seeing red. Seasonal Celebration On Dec. 6 at 6 p.m., celebrate the best of the season — friends, food and shopping — at Fête Chicago, a new night market. Presented by lifestyle editors Emily Fiffer (Daily Candy), Heather Sperling (Tasting Table) and Jessica Herman (formerly of Time Out Chicago), the event brings together local artisan food and design vendors in a West Loop event space. Sip bubbles from Illinois Sparkling Co. while picking up delectables from Bang Bang Pies, Old Town Social charcuterie and Pear Street Preserves, beauty goods from Arch Apothecary, jewelry from Dorus Mhor and much more.
