We’re toasting to Meredith Marks, Kwame Y. Raoul and Catie Keogh this week. Find out why. We’re thrilled for local jewelry designer Meredith Marks, whose Melissa stud earringswere featured in the annual “Oprah’s Favorite Things” issue of O Magazine. Congratulations to 13th District State Sen. Kwame Y. Raoul — also a lawyer at Quarles & Brady — who was recently honored by the African American Alumni Association at the Illinois Institute of Technology for his commitment to civic engagement. Kudos to friend-of-Splash Catie Keogh, who won a Midwest Emmy as host of “24/7 Secrets of the City” on WMAQ-Channel 5. The show airs on Saturday nights at 12:30 a.m. Send us your cheers at Splash@suntimes.com
