Guests crowded in the new Coach store to sip and shop
Every girl remembers her first Coach bag, and at the brand’s redesigned Michigan Avenue flagship (625 N. Michigan), 200 guests snapped up electrified versions of those classic bags known as the Legacy Collection. It was an invitation-only gathering laston Tuesday night to benefit the Art Institute hosted by the organization’s Auxiliary Board. Guests enjoyed a first look at the renovated space — which now includes a mini-store for men — as well as a wide selection of the covetable collectiables, from candy-apple saddle bags to electric-blue basket clutches to the star of the evening, the Legacy Duffle bag.
